Representatives of leading foreign and Russian companies will assess the advantages of creating joint ventures as links in technological chains, the practical aspects of cooperation between Russian and foreign partners, and also the use of benefits provided by the special economic zone.
It is planned that the first part of the event will be devoted to discussions of the industrial market development potential of Russian regions, and the prospects for innovative technology transfer. Among the invited experts are Russian industrial associations and representatives of the Sverdlovsk region Government.
As part of the second session, Russian and foreign experts will share decision-making experiences of locating their production in the Russian regions. Among the speakers who have expressed an interest in the discussion (have confirmed their participation in the discussions) are: Alex Rodzyanko (President of the American Chamber of Commerce), Dr. Manfred Liebl (Saxonian Economic Support Department), Peter Schlosser (Director of the Department for Cooperation with Russia and the CIS countries, Baden-Wurtemberg International), and other specialists.
The third part of the seminar will be devoted to discussions of practical matters for realization of joint production companies in the Sverdlovsk region. Representatives of the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation and NPP Mashprom will share their experience. Directors and representatives of such companies as Starrag, Yunona Holding, Ruukki Rus Inc., BASF (representative office in the Ural Federal District) and others will take part in the discussion.
The meeting will take place on 11 July 2014 (3rd day of the exhibition) at the Global Investment Lounge site from 13.00 till 15.30.
