Construction of a new electric power substation has started at the Titanium Valley SEZ site.
The substation will be equipped with two transformers, 10 MVA each, as this will be sufficient for the first residents to begin their activities. Later, the capacity of each transformer will be increased up to 40 MVA. Construction of a 110/10 kV “Titanium” substation for the SEZ is being carried out by order of the Interregional Distributive Grid Company of the Urals OJSC within the framework of the agreement on technological connections. The substation is expected to be put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2014.
The Titanium Valley SEZ project plans the construction on the SEZ site of a number of infrastructure facilities required for residents to carry out their industrial/production activities. In 2013, the external gas line and industrial/fire water lines were built; in 2014, construction of the drinking water main was started.
