Managing company of Titanium Valley SEZ is participating in the opening of the Hannover Messe 2013, the annual industrial fair in Germany, as part of the Sverdlovsk Regional Government delegation.
Artemiy Kyzlasov, General Director of Titanium Valley SEZ OJSC, explained the purpose of this visit as follows: “The goal of the Titanium Valley Special Economic Zone project is to bring foreign companies to the Urals Region in order to establish production, and participation in the key international exhibitions is the most important part of that work”. According to him, “Hannover Messe 2013 presents a unique opportunity to introduce the advantages of our production site to a wide circle of foreign industrialists”.
This year during the opening ceremony the visitors and participants of the fair will be welcomed by German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel and Russian President Vladimir Putin. After that the delegation of Titanium Valley SEZ managing company headed by Deputy Chairman of the Sverdlovsk Region Government Alexey Orlov will hold a number of negotiations.
“Assurance in support of large foreign investors by regional government authorities is one of the key factors for foreigners in making of a positive decision concerning cooperation with Russia”, Alexey Orlov commented. “By holding of the Titanium Valley SEZ presentations within the framework of the Hannover Messe 2013 we are helping the world business community to see that the Sverdlovsk Region is a rapidly developing area with favorable investment climate, which is willing to support attractive, promising projects”, he added.
A busy schedule of meetings is set for each day of the fair. Among the first is a meeting with Dieter Siempelkamp, Chairman of the Board of Siempelkamp GmbH&Co, at the booth of Titanium Valley SEZ. This is not the first time when this large German industrialist will be meeting with General Director of Titanium Valley SEZ Artemiy Kyzlasov. Mr. Siempelkamp is familiar with the Urals SEZ, and the goal of the present negotiations is to tell about the start of active project development and construction work related to building of the site infrastructure. For foreign investors the launch of this construction project has become a solid guarantee of future cooperation. This is why allocation of budget funds toward building of infrastructure makes it possible to hold negotiations with potential residents in the key of discussion of mutual plans and setting further steps of cooperation.
