CUTTING TOOLINGS UNDER POPULAR BRAND “MINICUT” WILL BE PRODUCED IN SEZ “TITANIUM VALLEY” IN 2018
Resident “Tooling production Minicut" has finished erection of walls and roofing for industrial facility with an area of almost 1000 square meters. In March, the company will start importing machine tools. Commissioning and production start are planned for mid-2018.

"Tooling production Minicut" received status of resident at the end of 2016. Total amount of investments is 123.5 million rubles. Area of land plot is 2.25 hectares. After receiving the status, company signed a shareholder agreement with Korean corporation YG-1 Co., Ltd (owner of Minicut trademark), one of the world's largest manufacturers of cutting tools.

The resident will produce Minicut toolings for milling hard-to-work materials: titanium and high-temperature alloys, stainless steels, composite materials (carbon plastic, fiberglass). Among potential buyers are enterprises of “United Aircraft Corporation” (UAC), Holding Company “Russian helicopters”, GC “Rosatom”, “United Engine Corporation” (UEC), “United Shipbuilding Corporation” (USC) and enterprises from other machine-building industries.

Artemiy Kyzlasov, CEO of SEZ “Titanium Valley”:

"This will be the first plant in Russia to produce toolings under the brand of Minicut. Throughout the world, these tooling are valued for the uniqueness of cutting edge geometry of milling cutters, which allows to increase productivity of machining and reduce its cost. "

"Tooling production Minicut" is the fourth resident, who started construction in the "Titanium Valley". This year two more residents will launch production: “Zibus” (spring) and “Ural Boeing Manufacturing” (autumn). In addition to that, the OSB-plate manufacturer STOD-Ural will enter the site in spring (volume of investments is 10.6 billion rubles). The company has already finished design works and started to coordinate documentation.
